The SWOP outreach officer at ACON Hunter works with people in the sex industry to deliver:
- information and support about sexual health and other issues related to the industry
- free safe sex supplies to individuals in the industry
- outreach services that visit parlour, private and street-based workers
- publications and fact sheets for sex workers
- referrals to other sex industry friendly services including counselling, sexual health, and needle and syringe programs.
