SWOP gratefully accepts all donations! By making a one-off donation or a regular donation of as little as $10 a month, you can support our work and make a difference to the lives of many people in the community. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and all donors—individuals, corporations and foundations—are entitled to receive an official receipt for the amount of the donation.
SWOP is a community-based non-government organisation working in our community, for the community. Funding for SWOP comes from NSW Health but it doesn’t cover all of our work. Our work is also financed by small grants, fundraising activities and donations.

Volunteers
Want to volunteer at SWOP? SWOP uses volunteers in a variety of roles, such as:
- creating safe sex ”workers packs”
- staffing information stalls at special events
- writing for The Professional magazine.
The amount of time you contribute is up to you. Some people volunteer on a regular basis, while others volunteer for special events. All assistance is greatly appreciated!
If you are interested, phone SWOP to make an appointment and we will go through the process with you.
Please note: you need to provide 100 points of identification and fill out some paperwork. Once that is done, you are ready to go and will be called upon when needed.
